Central Ohio Fishing Seminar XXV
The Hoover Fishing Seminar has been renamed the Central Ohio Fishing Seminar. We will still be providing great Hoover Fishing content but will also be covering other Central Ohio fisheries and techniques.
The seminar will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Walnut Springs Middle School in Westerville, Ohio. Doors open at 7:00 AM and Seminar will start at 8:00 AM. Tickets for the event will be going on sale soon. The clubs will be providing breakfast food and drinks for sale and we will be having food trucks at the event to provide lunch (at attendees expense).
This year we have a really great Seminar program scheduled! Again this year we are going to provide a Kayak Academy! The Kayak Academy will be (4) full sessions of speakers covering Kayak fishing topics along with demonstrations of several kayaks and associated gear. It is important to note that you can sign up for all (4) of the Kayak Academy Sessions or just choose the sessions that interest you and fill your remaining day in our traditional Seminar Sessions. Also, these sessions are not just limited to Kayak Anglers! If you want to hear some great species specific Speakers you can sign up for just these sessions.
We are also offering several great speakers in our traditional sessions.
We will again be having our raffle with lots of great items up for grabs. New this year we will be providing online registration only and will also be able to accept credit/debit cards for raffle and other items the day of the event.
Check back soon for additional details!
The Central Ohio Fishing Seminar (COFS) is the primary fundraising event for the Hartley’s Hawgs as well as the Hawgs sibling club, the Walnut Springs Middle School Fishing Club. 100% of the proceeds are split between the two clubs.
The goal of the Central Ohio Fishing Seminar is to provide entertaining, educational, and engaging fishing content with a focus on the many great fishing opportunities in the Central Ohio area. Each attendee enjoys several conference (classroom) sessions presented by local area anglers. There are also commercial exhibits from several area outdoor related organizations. The event closes with a raffle of several prize packages! The event typically draws 300+ fishing enthusiasts from the Central Ohio area.
