The Hartley’s Hawgs took on Rocky Fork Lake to contest the HS and JR OBF 2018 State Championship. It was a hot day with some tough fishing for the majority of the field. The Hawgs claimed the Jr State Championship and fell short of a sweep by just 0.01 pounds with a Hawgs HS duo claiming 2nd place. Great Job and congrats! Two Hartley’s Hawgs teams traveled to Tennessee to compete in the 2018 BASS National Championship held July 31 – August 1, 2018. There was two days of pre-fishing along with two days of competion. BASS organized a great event I’m sure the kids soon won’t forget. The tournament included 54 boats with the highest finishing Hawgs duo finishing in 16th. Way to go boys and way to represent O-H-I-O!
