The Hartley’s Hawgs had 14 teams participating in the 2021 Student Angler Federation Ohio High School State Championship that included a field of 49 boats on Delaware Lake. A week prior to the tournament Delaware Lake was in flood stage and around 15 ft above normal pool so the fish were definitely in a transition stage. It was a beautiful May day but the fishing was pretty tough with 106 fish weighed in and only 11 teams total in the field weighing in limits.
