On August 23, 2026 we are holding our initial club meeting for the 2026/2027 season. We wrapped up an exciting virtual tournament through the Fish Donkey app on August 1st. The tournament came right down to the wire in the Jr division with Jaden pulling out the win in the final days with biggest 5 stringer of 89.75″ of bass followed by Luca with 86.75″. In the Jr division the big bass also went to Jaden with a nice 19″ fish. The team of Cam and Asher represented Ohio and the Hartley’s Hawgs well at the 2026 Bassmaster Junior National Championship at Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee. The duo finished 14th out of 115 teams. The boys hauled in a total 5 fish with a total weight of 16 lbs. 9 oz. Cam took home Big Bass honors for the tournament with a Bass of 6 lbs. 9 oz! We are now a few weeks into our Club Summer Smash Tournament being run through the Fish Donkey application. The tournament runs through August 1, 2025 so there is still plenty of time to get out there and enter some fish. As of 7/3/26, Luca is leading the Juniors in the largest stringer category with an impressive 80.75 inch five fish stringer with Brayden close behind at 80 inches for his best five. Hartley’s Hawgs anglers delivered an outstanding performance at the TBF/SAF State Championship at Alum Creek on Saturday, June 6, competing against teams from across Ohio. Fishing conditions were challenging throughout the day. Anglers faced mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies, and a strong thunderstorm moved through during the middle of the tournament, forcing competitors and boat captains to seek shelter before returning to the water. Hartley’s Hawgs anglers had an outstanding weekend at the Ohio Bass Nation Youth State Championship, held May 30–31 at Salt Fork Lake under sunny and warm conditions. A total of 41 teams from across Ohio competed in the Junior and High School divisions, testing their skills in what proved to be a challenging tournament. What an incredible day on the water for the Hartley’s Hawgs teams at the Ohio Bass Federation Junior State Championship held on Mosquito Creek Lake near Cortland! A huge congratulations goes out to the team of Carter and Marlon for bringing home the State Championship victory!
