Virtual Tournaments allow our members to compete against other club members even when we are not able to get together as a club. These were started during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 however they continue on as an additional way to get kids out fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

For Hartley’s Hawgs Members Only

Starting Date/Time:Saturday, March 30, 2024 @ 6:00 AM
Ending Date/Time:Sunday, April 28, 2024 @ 6:00 PM
  • Tournament is for Largemouth, Smallmouth, or Spotted Bass.  Fish must be caught by the Club member (not a parent or other friend/relative).
  • Fish caught with the aid of a paid guide are not eligible.
  • Tournament open to all public and private waters and fish can be entered caught from shore or from a boat.
  • Each fish must be photographed with the picture containing the Date/Time.  The date and time must be within the tournament timeframe.  Each fish photograph must include a legible Date/Time written on piece of paper or otherwise clearly visible in the picture.  See Sample photo below.
  • Each fish picture must include the fish laid down on a measuring tape (Hawg Trough, Golden rule, etc…) with mouth closed as per below sample photo.  Length of fish must be clearly visible in photo.
  • Official Fish length measurement will be to the nearest 1/4″ and will be rounded up. As an example: A fish that measures 14-5/8″ will officially be a 14-3/4″ fish.
  • The Tournament will be broken up into below categories:
    • Hartley’s Hawgs High Schoolers
    • Hartley’s Hawgs Piglets (8th grade and younger)

 Prizes given for the following (for each category above):

  1. Longest Fish (AKA the Hawg!)
  2. Shortest Fish (AKA the Guppy!)
  3. Fish Closest to 16” in length without going over
  4. Fish Closest to 14” in length without going over
  5. Fish Closest to 12” in length without going over

Submit as many fish pictures as you want however, one person can win no more then 1 prize.  If someone has fish eligible for multiple prizes; the longest fish picture will be used for that person. The next closest person will win the next prize and so on…. Final winners for each category will be at the discretion of the Club Advisers.

In the event of a tie each winner will receive a prize.
