Four member of the Hartley’s Hawgs travelled to Decatur Alabama to attend the 1st ever BASS HS Combine. This was a unique event that brought together College Fishing programs from around the country with perspective HS Anglers looking to continue fishing in college. The Boys were able to speak with coaches from several colleges and also participated in a skills competition as part of the event. Big shout out to BASS for organizing this event and continuing to grow youth bass fishing. The Hartley’s Hawgs sent one team to compete for the BASS Jr. National Championship in Tennessee to compete against over 60 teams from all across the country. The duo of Brooks and Grant did a great job and finished 3rd in the nation and brought in the big bass for the event with an 8#-1oz Hawg! Way to go boys! Brooks and Grant qualified for the event through the Ohio Bass Nation State Championship held earlier in the year.
