Three Hartley’s Hawgs Junior Teams have made the trip to Clarks Hill Lake on the Georgia and South Carolina border to compete for the 2025 BASS Junior National Championship. Best of Luck to Cam/Asher, Andrew/Henry, and Carter/Elliot! Go Hawgs! Tournament starts on Friday, July 25, and finishes on Saturday July 26, 2025. You can follow along on the Bassmaster Website. The weigh-ins will be live webcast on the Bassmaster website with weigh-ins starting at around 2:30P eastern time.
The heat has been intense but the boys are in good spirits and have been practicing hard on the lake Monday, July 21 through Wednesday July 23, 2025. Air Temps have been in the mid to upper 90’s with heat index numbers well over 100 every day.
Also, can’t thank the volunteer boat captains and parents enough for all the support. We can’t get these kids out on the water to experience these moments without all the great support.

On Thursday, July 24th all the competitors were required to check-in and attend a briefing meeting. In addition, the anglers were treated with lots of free swag and goodies from the sponsors of the event. Here are some pictures from the check-in meeting. Click on an image to view larger image.
After the meeting all the kids, families and boat captains enjoyed a great lunch to share stories and have some great southern food. Thanks to Katie Baker for organizing the lunch!
