Zak Davis was a former Walnut Springs and Hartley’s Hawgs member who tragically lost his life in a car accident. His family has created a memorial foundation in Zak’s honor to promote and support Zak’s passion of fishing. Each year the Foundation organizes and runs the ZakFest fundraiser event. The 2026 event will be held with the City of Westerville’s 4th Fridays on both Friday May 22nd and June 26th from 6-9pm in Westerville, Ohio. Or checkout our our Events Calendar.

Additionally, in 2024 the Foundation announced the creation of a $500 Scholarship for a Hartley’s Hawgs Angler that will be attending college. We appreciate this great partnership to help honor Zak and his passion for fishing.
