The Hartley’s Hawgs club competed in the OBF State Tournaments held August 17, 2019 (Youth) and August 18, 2019 (High School) on West Harbor and Sandusky Bay. The club had 6 youth teams participate in the Jr competition and 11 teams compete in the HS Tournament.
The youth tournament had stable/warm weather with a lot of teams struggling to catch fish. For the High School competition the launch was delayed for over an hour due to a strong thunderstorm system that moved through during the early morning hours. Then after the tournament was underway another line of strong thunderstorms came through with teams taking cover.
