Big Thank You to Jason Root for taking the time this past weekend to meet with nearly twenty of our Hartley’s Hawgs Club Members. Also thanks to Fishermans Central for hosting us up at their Port Clinton store. Additionally big thank you to the Ike Foundation for providing some rod/reel combos to give to the kids attending the session!
Jason shared his knowledge of fishing in Northern Ohio and elsewhere. He also engaged with the kids and had the kids pick some baits at the store so he could talk about those baits and the type of equipment and presentation methods with those different baits. He also spent some time discussing boating safety especially out on Lake Erie and other bodies of water. We really appreciated Jason taking some time out of his day to share his passion and knowledge of fishing with the kids.
