The Hartley’s Hawgs duo of Dylan and Andrew brought home the 2022 OBF HS State championship to the club with a nice 5 five fish limit of 16.56 pounds! Congrats Boys! It was an overcast stormy day but the fish didn’t seem to mind as Hawgs Teams brought several nice bags to the scales. The Team of Jake & Drew took home the Big Bass Honors for the tourney with a nice 4.75# largemouth! Nathan and Braden weighed five for 14.22# to earn the 5th place prize. Four Hawgs teams traveled south to Pickwick Lake in Florence Alabama to compete in the 13th Annual High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship presented by the Student Angler Federation held the week of June 19 – 25, 2022. This event is setup in a unique format and is two tournaments in one. Daily bag limit was three fish per team to put less stress on the fish during the hot summer weather.
