The Hartley’s Hawgs had seven teams competing in the 2024 SAF State championship held on Alum Creek Lake. The team of Brooks and Noah took home the top honors with a bag weighing in at 16# – 1 oz to secure the win. The team of Connor and Hoyt weighed in a bag at 12# – 2 oz to finish third in the event. With their high finishes both team earned a spot at the upcoming SAF High School World and National Finals being held on Lake Hartwell. Congrats to Brooks, Noah, Connor and Hoyt on their great finishes!

It was a beautiful day for fishing and our teams weighed in several nice fish including the 2nd and 3rd biggest bass for the tourney. Thanks again to all the volunteer boat captains that get these kids out on the water. It was great to see several Hartley’s Hawgs alumni as well as young men that fished in other clubs that are giving back to this group of young anglers. We can’t do it without all the great volunteer support!
