The Hartley’s Hawgs had 10 teams total (6 High School Teams and 4 Junior Teams) competing in the June 7-8, 2025 Ohio Bass Nation State Championship held on East Fork Lake near Cincinnati. The Teams braved some unpredictable weather and a very active Cicada hatch.
Our Junior team of Carter and Elliot took 1st, while Andrew and Henry placed second in the junior division. Both teams earned a spot in the upcoming BASS Jr National Championship to be held on Clarks Hill Reservoir. On the High School side, the Team of Connor and Hoyt secured 2nd place also earning a spot in the BASS High School National Championship. Great job to all of our Hartley’s Teams.
Big thanks to all the volunteer boat captains and parents that help make these events possible for our anglers. Also, big thanks to all of our Sponsors that help support youth fishing.

Big shout out to Bantam Barn and Beyond for allowing us to host our picnic on their property! The kids had fun fishing in the pond and the parents could relax and enjoy some conversation.
