Two Hartley’s Hawgs teams traveled to Tennessee to compete in the 2018 BASS National Championship held July 31 – August 1, 2018. There was two days of pre-fishing along with two days of competion. BASS organized a great event I’m sure the kids soon won’t forget. The tournament included 54 boats with the highest finishing Hawgs duo finishing in 16th. Way to go boys and way to represent O-H-I-O! After finishing 2nd in Ohio’s BASS State Championship Colten Didion and John Hutson made their mark fishing one of the country’s most historic fisheries in Kentucky Lake. They competed against 175 other anglers from across the county and was able to stay above the cut-line earning the opportunity to fish on Day#3 with just 11 other teams. They finished 8th overall!
