This weekend is the OBN State Championship for both High Schoolers and Juniors. Be sure to have the parental release form completed as well as the Boat Captain release form. Zak Davis was a former Walnut Springs and Hartley’s Hawgs member who tragically lost his life in a car accident. His family has created a memorial foundation in Zak’s honor to promote and support Zak’s passion of fishing. Each year the Foundation organizes and runs the ZakFest fundraiser event. The 2024 event will be held on June 22, 2024 between 12 noon – 3pm at Hoff Woods Park in Westerville, Ohio. Additionally, in 2024 the Foundation announced the creation of a $500 Scholarship for a Hartley’s Hawgs Angler that will be attending college.
