All current and perspective members are invited to attend a club meeting being held at Alum Creek Lake, New Galena Ramp on Sunday 8/24/24 starting at 11AM. The meeting will include some discussions about preparing for tournaments and we also plan on having a representative from Ohio Bass Nation there to discuss the upcoming Youth Team Trail that Ohio Bass Nation is starting. The Hartley’s Hawgs had 5 high school teams competing for the Ohio Bass Federation High School Championship on Lake Erie. Because of high winds/waves the tournament was limited to within Sandusky Bay for safety. Our team of Cooper and Walker brought in a nice limit of largemouth weighing in at 12.70# to earn 2nd place in the state while all the other Hartley’s teams also brought fish to the scale. This fall there is a unique tournament opportunity being held in October that pairs a High School and College Angler together to fish for significant scholarship dollars and prizes. This event is the Logan Parks Foundation High School/College Chaos Tournament.
