Hartley’s Hawgs anglers delivered an outstanding performance at the TBF/SAF State Championship at Alum Creek on Saturday, June 6, competing against teams from across Ohio. Fishing conditions were challenging throughout the day. Anglers faced mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies, and a strong thunderstorm moved through during the middle of the tournament, forcing competitors and boat captains to seek shelter before returning to the water. Hartley’s Hawgs anglers had an outstanding weekend at the Ohio Bass Nation Youth State Championship, held May 30–31 at Salt Fork Lake under sunny and warm conditions. A total of 41 teams from across Ohio competed in the Junior and High School divisions, testing their skills in what proved to be a challenging tournament.
