In Conjunction with the Walnut Springs Fishing Club, the Hartley Hawgs are holding our first ever virtual fishing tournament Starting Saturday May 2, 2020 @ 6:00 AM and ending Sunday May 10, 2020 @ 6:00 PM. Our Jr National Champion team of Braden and Mikey were invited to this years 50th Bassmaster Classic for some of the pre-tourney festivities and also to participate in the High School Classic Exhibition Tournament to be held on Lay Lake in Alabama on Saturday, March 7, 2020. They will compete against other teams from across the nation and will get to weigh-in on the biggest stage of all at the Bassmaster Classic on Saturday. The Kokosing Valley Junior Anglers and the OSU Bass Club partnered to put on a fall tournament on Sunday, October 20, 2019 held at Alum Creek Lake. Several Hartley’s Hawgs teams participated in the event. The Hawgs took 1st and 3rd for the tournament and also claimed the big fish prize with a 4.09# largemouth. The fishing was tough that day with only 12 of 26 teams bringing fish to the scales. Congrats to Mason and Ian on their 1st place finish!
