We are heading into the very busy month of May! Spring is upon us and the fish are biting. Get out there and enjoy the outdoors.
Remember the Hartley’s Hawgs Raffle drawing is being held May 20, 2021 so get out there and sell raffle tickets to help support the club. Get your filled out raffle ticket stubs to an advisor before the drawing.
Our club has several tournaments coming up very soon. For an entire list see the Tournaments or Event Calendar pages on the website. On May 8th we have the OBF Junior State Championship being held on Alum Creek for all members 8th grade and under. The winner of this tournament claims a spot at the TBF Junior World Championship being held on the mighty Mississippi and being hosted by Quad Cities, Illinois. On May 22 the Student Angler Federation Ohio State HS Championship is being contested on Delaware Lake. This is for High School members (or a junior member fishing up with a high schooler). The winner of this tournament qualifies to compete in the upcoming High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship being held on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. The Hartley’s Hawgs already has one qualifying team via the FLW Lake Erie Open held last August. To learn more see below:
And, also BASS recently announced the sites for the upcoming BASS High School and Junior National Championship Tournaments. The High School National Championship is being held on Chickamauga Lake after several years on Kentucky Lake while the Juniors is once again on Carroll County 1000 Acre Lake. See below for more info:
