Several Teams from the Hartley’s Hawgs competed in the recent Ohio Bass Federation Junior State Championship on May 7, 2022. The event was originally scheduled to be held on O’Shaugnessy Reservoir but the location was moved to Alum Creek Lake due to heavy rains in the days preceding the event causing unsafe and tough fishing conditions on O’Shaugnessy. The Hartley’s Hawgs competed in the 2022 Ohio Bass Nation State Championship. This was a two day tournament for both High School and Junior teams held 4/30/22 and 5/1/22 on Rocky Fork Lake. The Duo of Archer and Hayden took home the win in the Junior Division! The Team of Jake and Drew were 2nd in the High School Division. Both teams earned a spot in the 2022 BASS National Championship.
