Coming up on October 27, 2024 the Ohio Bass Nation is holding their 2nd annual His/Her Open Tournament with all the proceeds to benefit the OBN Youth Program. We were able to get ahold of some tentative schedule information for the 2025 Championship Tournaments to include the SAF and OBN Championship and have updated our Events Calendar and Tournament Pages accordingly. All current and perspective members are invited to attend a club meeting being held at Alum Creek Lake, New Galena Ramp on Sunday 8/24/24 starting at 11AM. The meeting will include some discussions about preparing for tournaments and we also plan on having a representative from Ohio Bass Nation there to discuss the upcoming Youth Team Trail that Ohio Bass Nation is starting. This fall there is a unique tournament opportunity being held in October that pairs a High School and College Angler together to fish for significant scholarship dollars and prizes. This event is the Logan Parks Foundation High School/College Chaos Tournament. The club was fortunate to be able to do some pond fishing at the beautiful Hurtt Family property for a little pond tournament competition during today’s meeting. Thanks for allowing us to fish at the pond! We also handed out prizes to the winners of our 2024 spring virtual tournament and distributed jerseys and other team merchandise. New Anglers that joined the club this year, Connor and Hoyt, travelled down to Alabama to compete in the MLF High School Open and brought back a victory qualifying them for the MLF National Championship (and World Finals) later this summer on Lake Hartwell.
