The Hartley’s Hawgs had two teams travel to mid-Michigan to fish the Bassmaster High School open on the waters of Lake Huron within Saginaw Bay. Lots of fish were caught during the practice time and tournament. The day of the tournament the weather was volatile with some pretty sizeable waves keeping many teams from making long runs out into the Bay in the interest of safety. The Teams of Mike/Rees and Zack/Brett both weighed five fish and had great finishes in the event. Way to go boys. For a full writeup from the event from Bassmaster click here. The Hartley’s Hawgs had several teams competing in the Ohio Bass Nation High School and Junior State Championship being held at Alum Creek Lake. The Cicada’s were also around in force to join the party. The day got off to a slow start as there was an hour plus fog delay. Once the sun got up the fog quickly burned off and the teams got out on the water and got busy. The Hawgs had several good bags placed on the scales and are well positioned for a run at a State Championship. Good luck tomorrow to all Hartley’s Hawgs teams. Be safe out thereRead More →
