Five Teams from the Hartley’s Hawgs travelled south to fish the Ohio River in search of the SAF State championship. It was a beautiful summer day and four of the five teams were able to bring fish back to the scales. The top two teams from this tournament qualified for the upcoming SAF National Championship. While the Hawgs fell just short of a top two finish the teams fished hard on a very tough body of water. The Hawgs were led by the team of Mike and Rees with a 5th place finish and only being 4 ounces out of the top spot in a very crowded leaderboard. Great Job to Mikey and Rees and to all the teams that competed and thanks to all the Parents and Volunteers who make this happen. We couldn’t do it without you all. .
